About the Artist...

The Spiked Olive Artware Co. is owned and operated by Sharron Murrell. She resides in Kitchener, Ontario after relocating her business from Coquitlam, British Columbia. Her natural talent for fun, bright and artistic images for over 15 years are apparent in her current works and she continues to show a flair for unique designs and colors in her art, gifts and unique creations. At her store & studio in Kitchener, Sharron, is creating and producing new and exciting products, original art, and many additions to her most popular designs.

CUSTOM WORK

Custom & Personalized Tic Tac Toe Boards




A garden stone I made for a friend. It was painted on slate and fired. It has been there for about 6 years now, in sun, snow and rain. I will be doing more of these this spring.





Spider Set (Painted silver with black webs and spiders, plate was reverse painted) - First order from customer in the States included 4 each of Martini, Wine, Beer, Shots, plates and a set of Salt & Peppers. Second order the following year included mugs, margarita, cream & sugar set, butter dish and more.



For another special customer in Calgary, I did a character of 3 friends, this is one with his pet parrot...Rumboli, the others where done on martini glasses.





GALLERY

A very special order for a very special customer that is now being displayed at Oyster Bar in Pensicola, Florida. A little bit of Canada...A beaver holding a plate of oysters, holding a Canadian Flag!




This hurricane lamp took approx 23 hours and 5 days. Each square in opaque and frosted was painted square by square using 3 sizes of brush. The rim and base is frosted. This is a gallery piece.
